Every piece in our collection is measured by hand.

Unlike mass-produced jewellery, our pieces are crafted in small batches by skilled artisans. Each design is unique — and so are its measurements. We measure every piece individually before it's listed, so what you see on the product page is exactly what you'll receive.

Necklaces & Chokers

We measure necklaces fully extended in a straight line, from clasp to clasp. This is the worn length — the distance the necklace will span when on your neck.

Adjustable Necklaces

Many of our pieces are designed to be worn at multiple lengths. Some use a hook extender chain with fixed positions, while others feature a sliding bead closure that allows infinite adjustment within the listed range.

When a piece is adjustable, we show both the shortest and longest worn lengths on the product page, along with descriptions of how each setting will sit on the body. The "Two Ways to Wear" guide on each adjustable product helps you visualize the look at either extreme.

Earrings

Earring length is measured from the very top — where the hook or stud meets the ear — to the lowest point of the design, including any hanging beads or pearls.

Tikka & Maang Tikka

Chain length is measured from the inner edge of the hair clip to the top of the centerpiece — this determines how the centerpiece will sit on the forehead. The centerpiece itself is measured separately for height.

A = Chain length · B = Centerpiece height

Passa

The passa, or side tikka, is measured as a total length — from the top of the hair clip to the lowest point of the design, including any hanging strands.

Bangles & Kadas

The most important measurement for bangles is the inner diameter — this is what determines whether the bangle will fit over your hand and onto your wrist.

Inner Diameter

Measured across the inside of the bangle, edge to edge

Standard South Asian bangle sizes (in inches):

  • 2.4Small
  • 2.6Medium-small
  • 2.8Medium · most common
  • 2.10Medium-large
  • 2.12Large

If you're unsure of your size, measure across the widest part of your closed hand (where the thumb tucks against the palm) — this gives you the diameter your bangle needs to slide over.
